Thats me for the most part. If I watch at all its usually just the playoffs. I'm about as flaky about NFL teams as barners are about the barn when they start 1-2!

any team with a former player starting... which is alot but my top 2 are the chiefs and the seahawks... the only reason i watch is to see former tide players

Dallas Cowboys. Been a fan since '77 and have cheered for them while they were winning Super Bowls and cheered for them when they were horrible in the late 80's. Cowboys and the Tide were my dad and grandpaw's favorite teams so that's why I became a fan of both. Roll Tide and How 'bout them Cowboys!

If I wanted to watch professionals make money, I would follow a certain PAC-10 team or that dadgum Flarda team that gives away shoes...

I prefer amateur sports. Not RANK amateurs like the Atlanta Falcons, mind you, just collegiate amateurs.:wink:

Like most, though, I will pull for 'Bama players, regardless of where they play.

Sorry 99905, not to get presonal or any of that, it's just that for me it started in the
'70's when someone there started the 'America's Team' thing. (Same as with the Braves way back when)......turned me off forever I guess. (I did admire Tom Landry, and didn't like the Jerry Jones approach to him for the get-go).
I can't put my finger on an NFC Favorite, but my reference to Dallas wasn't meant to

Grew up a Dolphins fan (yeah...I know) and a Packers fan (cuz of Bart)

Now, I basically pull more for individuals in the NFL than teams, if that makes any sense. I love to watch it, and do so most Sundays & Mondays. But no real strong prefs at the pro level. Living around here, one sort of has to be a Saints fan at some level. jr. & I watched Antwan Odom play for the Titans a few years back, plus McNair hails from just up the road.

Of course, the biggie around here is the Packers because of Favre. I tell folks about "my neighbor, Brett." Which is true if one really stretches that word "neighbor." He lives about 5 miles from me...across the highway...in a zillion-acre gated place...that costs just a wee bit more than casa exiled. (not a gated community...his place is gated all by itself) So, yeah, we're sort of neighbors...

A distant second has to be the Tennessee Titans. Due to the locale I've been able to go to a few of their games and I always have a great time...
