Hi everyone.
A group of researchers are studying the internet and college football and have asked us to participate in a survey as part of that study. As a doctoral student myself, I'm happy to help them in their research and in return, they'll share their results with me. Participation is optional, but encouraged. If you can spare a few minutes, please Click here to take the survey. Individual information submitted is confidential.
THANKS!
Brett

Congrats on a great season. I attended the Iron Bowl over the weekend, and the Tide sure looks good!
I have a favor to ask and hopefully a favor to offer in return. I am part of a team of researchers (all graduates of SEC schools) working on an extensive research project and book about the Internet and college football. We are interested in posting a survey on your website as part of this study. As one of the largest sites online devoted to Alabama, we have selected you as a participant in this study. For us to get a fair representation of the conference and make sure Alabama fans are represented, we need your help.
This season we have traveled throughout the SEC interviewing fans, web publishers, college sports administrators and media to get their take on how the Internet empowers fans. Prior to the season, we attended SEC media days and conducted a survey of the SEC and national media.
Now is the time in our research process where we want to hear from a larger number of fans. Obviously, we can't talk to everyone, but for our study to be complete, we need to get a broad cross section about what the fans think through a brief survey. The survey itself takes around 10 minutes to complete.
