Arkansas family welcomes 18th child

At some point humans have to realize that if we can't control our reproduction, nature will. There are real limits to the number of people that this planet can support...
(Okay, I'm playing devil's advocate...:) )

So, should the government limit the number of children a family can have?

Has anyone besides me seen one of the multiple shows (on TLC, I think) on the Duggars (this family)?

I am a father of multiples as of December 2nd. You should see the shows that have been happening at my house the last two weeks. If you would have told me beforehand, there is no way I would have believed you.

Twins? Over the last two weeks, how much sleep have you had?

Yep. December 2nd. And not much, my man. Not much. Thankfully my mother-in-law has been here to help out. But I hit the rack last night at 2:15 and after a good two hours of sleep was ready to take on yet another day. We'll lose the MIL tonight and tomorrow night but she will be back Sunday.

To say it has been an eye-opening experience is an understatment. We were childless and our thought process coming into this was "we don't know anything about having one kid, what's the difference with two?" Man, were we sadly mistaken. I've got a whole new respect for parents, and specifically those with multiples.

But despite the lack of sleep thus far it has been a blast. I'm gonna try to post some pictures of the little knuckleheads over the weekend. They're cute--like their daddy.

Yep, for childless couples, they don't have a clue as to what is in store for them. It is a life changer for sure. But, hang in there, keep the video camera close by and enjoy. They grow up too fast.
About being cute like their daddy; mom might have something to say about that.
Your avitar. Where did you come up with that? Is it human or monkey? Gotta say, the strangest one I have seen.
