I think the only way it becomes a big deal is for the smaller teams. Take for instance Vandy. If they're recruiting out of Texas, they could present a case that Vandy would have an away game in that player's home state that his family can more easily attend. I don't know that this is a huge...
I don't see how anyone can lose money and still have a job in this market. Everything is money driven in almost any job. Not trying to discredit your statement, just my personal opinion of the playing for money.
