I have doubted before and been wrong .So, not again..... Al-31, LSU -21. We have better coaching and arguably somewhat better players. Our kids know what is on the line with this one. We play like our lives depend on it and come away with a win. RTR

I like our chances. We faced Fournette before and prevailed although I am quite sure he has improved. Watching LSU, Harris hasn't been pressured a lot. Our front seven and now our defensive backfield is definitely improved over last year. Cautiously confident.

Jake is a big drink of water. I don't buy the 6'5" 230 lbs stuff. I would bet he is a lot closer to 6'6" or 6'7" and 245 or 250 lbs. When he stands next to our other QBs, he is much bigger and thicker. The others look like beanpoles. Couldn't have him weighing more than Henry, could we?

Re: Jake Coker - "I don't believe in slidin'." :) CNS said that he asked the team at half how bad they wanted it and what were they prepared to do to get it. Jake answered that bell with hard nosed determination and punishing runs. IMHO, he is just the warrior this team needs.

Wasn't Eddie Jackson originally recruited as a wide receiver ? I think he was. If not , he sure runs like one!

Maybe we aren't developing QBs like we should.

But,But,But....... We need to run the read option like Awbrun. Let Coker start and play whole game tonight and we win. Bench him, play mind games with him and then expect him to come in and win the game for us and we expect him not to be confused!? All this mamby pamby stuff is for the birds...

It could either demoralize the players watching it happen ,if they even noticed. Or help make them determined to persevere and succeed in spite of waning support. If anything, I believe it was the latter. Our guys never gave up!

Anybody that has taken the time to watch Cokers highlight reels on YouTube would know that he is a capable runner. Faster than he appears and runs with authority. He is the ONLY reason we came back in this game and were in it at the end. I guess some people called what happened as Coker released...

I agree. Coker will be fine. He wouldnt be there if CNS didnt believe in him.
