4th and 1, Wildcat formation, IU TO, Punt to shift for “freeze” play, burn our own TO. Come back out in Wildcat and run… jet sweep! Incompetent. Seen a better play call sequence in mediocre HS football in the bluegrass. Put you 6th best OL, put a fat guy in the backfield, dot the I and get...

Honest question-- Why have we not found a way to get 2 the ball more often? I realize he has had some drops (had a big one tonight), but he is probably the most elusive guy on the field. Find a way to get him the ball in space. Could you imagine what we would look like if Germie had stayed on...

Last TD was incredibly high risk

Actually, Nick Saban did elect to go for a TD in the 2009 IB instead of kicking the field goal. I think it was a Playaction pass to Upchurch. Not arguing, just saying. Both calls were dependent on brass marbles. I liked the call.

I was at the 2010 debacle in Columbia. It felt like we were going to fight our way out of the stadium, people trying to throw beer on you, running up to you getting in your face. I cannot stand that place. Felt good to see long faces looming over the shrubs they were getting ready to hop and...

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly….. USCe style:

The Good: Got a W, resilience and fight when facing adversity The Bad: Lack of run game until 4th Quarter, Offense didn't get off bus until mid 3rd quarter, The Ugly: Anything to do with Willams-Bryce and grown-ups shouting "Go C....", well, never mind.

Did we not have a targeting call on hitting a RB a few weeks ago? What is most perplexing is that there appeared to be no review whatsoever on either hit today. I personally think targeting is magnified in official's empty heads a bit too much (kind of like holding on any big special teams...

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly…. Mizzou style:

The Good: W against a pretty good team, more patience/commitment to the run The Bad: Once again, the SEC deserves better than the imbeciles they allow to wear stripes... The Ugly: Little Eli stomping his feet and crying like a spoiled petulant child (See above).

"Duo" blocking scheme. We do it but so do others.

So it basically sounds like combo blocking, doubling the "bigs" working to backers. That is not a new concept, it could probably be argued that it is time proven. Even though I prefer a true gap scheme, I am for any scheme that allows our oline to experience success. There is a lot of beef up...

    Jam Miller Appreciation Thread

He is not the fastest guy on the field (fast enough, though), cannot make everyone miss, but he has great vision and runs the ball extremely hard. The greatest compliment I could probably give him is that he is exactly what I would expect from RB 1 at Alabama- hardworking, hard running, and...

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly… Pavia style:

The Good: W, running the ball, imposing will at LOS in 4th The Bad: Refs (SEC deserves better/complete clown car) The Ugly: Pavia apparently grabbing his gibblets and taunting crowd in warm-ups (I sincerely hope I saw that wrong). Anyway, "pride goeth before the fall..." - King Solomon

The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly…. Dawg Style:

The Good: Ty Simpson, OL pass pro, The Bad: defensive scheme (force/edge), run game The Ugly: cheap blinking bracelet light show, targeting/ lack of P. I. calls,

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly…. Badger style:

The Good: Got the W, loved the flea flicker/screen The Bad: Run the dad gum ball some, penalties The Ugly: The gorge in the middle of our kick coverage

Hmm... Do we now have a QB controversy?

Agree. I saw the same thing last night from my couch with my arm elbow deep in a bag of Zapps. Looked like Mack has a howitzer, but KR understands how to get someone open with his legs or throwing. Glad we have both, though.

Hmm... Do we now have a QB controversy?

Agreed. I think Ty showed why he is the clear 1. I think that the two spot is wide open. Both played well but have completely different styles.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly…. Warhawk Style:

Good: Locked in, did what we were supposed to do, 70 point shut out Bad: Offensive Pass Interference??, needless calls Ugly: When I think about what could have been- 2-0
