These are very good points. However, there's an abundance of talent on offense.

ND had obvious help from the officials to beat Pitt when they were trailing. They also had major help from the officials on the goal line against Stanford. They do not belong in the NC game. The only thing that could keep ND in the game would be more turnovers or more poor play calling.

Believe me. I don't want him to retire anytime soon! The program is in the best shape it's been since the 70's.

I was hoping that South Florida or that FIU might hire Shula. I'm surprised one of the lesser schools haven't considered him. I'd really like to see him get another shot.

I know this is looming at some point. When do you think it will be? After this national title? Or after the next? I predict it will be after the next NC, not this upcoming one, but who knows? I think the recent Terri Saban comments about Kirby Smart suggest this is coming sooner than later.

This is a clear indication to me that Gus Malzahn is being allowed to take control and hire only the people he wants. He is going to be successful and Auburn will be in the mix for the SEC West within 2 years.

I don't think Nussmeyer would be missed.

I am truly shocked that Kentucky did not hire him. It seemed like a huge no brainer. There may be more issues with him that has been released in the media or maybe they felt he would bolt as soon as he got back to some success.

I agree. This is the most prepared I've seen any team since the 92 NC game. Probably the best prepared defense I have ever seen. Certainly, the most accurate mentally peaked team I've seen.

I am truly shocked by this hire. I was telling someone the other day that their AD really looked like a dumb person, just looking at him. He's proven that looks aren't deceiving. I just can't believe it.
