This is why college football beats the NFL any day of the week! There's so much nastiness (translated: jealousy) from other schools in the SEC, that it's heartwarming to hear that Texas A&M and their fans were such wonderful hosts last week. Proof that it's possible to watch a fantastic game...

The Good: We played a real team, unlike Ohio State and Miami (Louisville did play an FBS team) The Bad: We played without a great deal of urgency or we played down to our opponent The Ugly: Hey, it was Saturday night at BDS ... how could anything be ugly

Or Louisville could've played Ohio State ... talk about one helluva good game! In Louisville's defense, at least they played an FBS opponent.

I know why these games are played, but Miami, Ohio State and Louisville should be ashamed of themselves. Either for scheduling them or for absolutely emasculating an opponent. College football is such a great game and games like these do nothing but tarnish the image.

I don't know if fans from either side had the energy to be nasty we other after the game. I watched it from the recliner in my living room and I was exhausted. Had I been at the game, I think I would've need oxygen and an IV. Seriously, though, it is nice to hear that fans know how to support...

Great new! Seemed like such a benign tackle ... especially after Fanning's "tackle" and everyone walked away. It looked far, far worse than an strain the way they were handling him. So glad to hear it was apparently nothing more than a strain. Hope he gets back on the field soon!
