Hate it. I hope the University quietly pays to have it taken down.

Jonathan Allen Signed Football Raffle to Help Fund Adoption

My wife and I are in the process of adopting internationally. Last week, a guy I don't know reached out to me on Twitter and offered to do a raffle to help fund our adoption. He won a Jonathan Allen football from the Cole Cubelic show last year. I was blown away by his generosity. He's a huge...

Does Jarrett Stidham Have a Tail?

I keep hearing it's why he left Baylor, he was apparently getting harassed about it non-stop. Not like a full on tail, but like a nub. Anyone else hearing this? I've seen it being talked about a lot the last day or so.

What is your worst Football "I'll never get over it" moment?

Re: What is your worst "I never get over it" moment? The Clemson game this year, but in kind of the opposite way. For the time being, instead of never getting over it, I'm 100% totally over it. I've been looking for a way to care less about football for a while now. Each fall, I spend an...

    Another Loss for Gerrymandering

I've actually had to help draw voting districts for a few municipalities and what you said is the biggest problem. (From my experience this is a another problem that crosses party lines.) You try to be as fair as possible and fair just doesn't exist, someone will always be excluded. One of the...

Neil deGrasse Tyson on Science, Truth, and the Future of America

There's no point in continuing to post in this thread. You've said nothing remotely controversial and have been panned by the usual "I'm always right," crew at every turn. This is why I've kept my distance from this place the last year or so. When the middle ground is controversial to the fat...

Neil deGrasse Tyson on Science, Truth, and the Future of America

The point is to be skeptical of all findings. Both those that back up your position and those that go against it. This shouldn't be a controversial point. NDT never seems to have a skeptical bone in his body unless it's something that goes against his line of reasoning or thinking or findings.

Neil deGrasse Tyson on Science, Truth, and the Future of America

This is a message board. You've been on it for years. You should know what hyperbole is. And tbh, in certain circles, it's actually treated similarly. You go against the grain regarding CC at all and you must have a political agenda that doesn't line up with everyone else in the circle.

Neil deGrasse Tyson on Science, Truth, and the Future of America

Yes it is. Anyone who even hints that man might not be the sole or even main reason for climate change is ostracized. I'm not ready to say man is or isn't. Today's politics surrounding the discussion is based on fear that we might be responsible. And we might be, we very well might be the...

Neil deGrasse Tyson on Science, Truth, and the Future of America

That's my point. Future science will inevitably come along and dispute a lot previous science. Heck, there's still a lot we don't know about one of the fundamental forces of nature - gravity. That's my entire point. Anyone (like the quote above from NDT) who tells other people that "this is...
