I've got a good friend who unfortunately is a huge LSU fan. Bleeds for the Tigers, etc... The day we hired CNS he called me and said, "Within three years, he'll have you in the National Championshp game." We were so far away from that at the time, I laughed -- he had more faith than I did!

Take away two huge plays for Florida, and we're all over this game statistically & scoreboard (sound familiar from the IB?) What adjustments do we need to make at 1/2 to close this out and prevent TT from another 4th quarter comeback?

Meyer should & would be their choice if ND could get him, IMO. However, I hope he stays and doesn't bolt. I want to see his legend lose some of its luster after he tries to win at UF without Tebo

While we're playing "what if"....has anyone looked closely at the onsides kick Auburn pulled off. Their kicker recovered it...and I'm not sure the ball went 10 yards before he did. Water under the bridge now, of course -- but it made me mad at the time.

I just finished re-watching the game online (http://www.secdigitalnetwork.com/default.aspx). With a little time and distance now, what stands out to me is that this game was not as close as it felt at the time. Take away the 14pts we spotted them right at the beginning, and Bama outplayed Auburn...

Does anyone know if/when CSS or anyone else will have a replay of the Iron Bowl? It would be nice to go back and watch it with both eyes open this time!

Not trying to be troublesome at all. I hope that in a few hours it will be moot as we all dance amid Auburn's tears. I was just pondering... I live in enemy territory in Knoxville. So maybe it comes from being so surrounded by fans who find ways to rationalize defeats!

I know none of us want to lose any game. But just a hypothetical here: If Bama has to lose 1 game, would you rather lose to Auburn in the IB or Florida in the SECG? Theoretically, it'd be better for our season to lose to Auburn --> If we then went on to beat UF, we'd still have a strong claim...
