ICE Officer Kills Motorist In Minneapolis

Again, if he couldn't see her wheels, how did he know she's steering away from him and not toward him? You presume that he was aware of the direction of her wheels, when most likely they were not visible from the front of the SUV due to his proximity to the vehicle.

This was avoidable - all he had to do was not be in front of the SUV. And all she had to do was not gun the vehicle and hit an officer (whom she was looking at as she did so).

As I said before, both are at fault - if either one of them had acted differently, she'd likely be alive now.

I asked this earlier and I didn't see a response. What authority does ICE have to demand people exit their vehicles or even show ID without some probable cause ?
I repeat.
18 U.S.C. § 111 makes it a crime to “forcibly assault, resist, oppose, impede, intimidate, or interfere with” certain federal officers and employees (including many federal law‑enforcement officers) while they are performing, or because of their performance of, official duties. Penalties range from up to 1 year for simple assault to significantly longer terms (up to 8–20 years) if a deadly weapon is used or bodily injury

Attempting to block the road to impede federal law enforcement is a violation of 18 U.S.C. § 111. At the very least, it is probably cause for the federal law enforcement to interview potential drivers to determine why they were parked sideways on the street. ICE would not normally have authority to enforce Minnesota traffic law violations. Impeding federal law enforcement is a federal crime.

But, what if you're a narcissist with an extremely inflated sense of righteousness and loathing for America who is on the Soros or Chinese payroll? Can't support the team following your advice.
Most research suggests that you avoid confronting a narcissist in a public manner. So we are doing it all wrong apparently.

Parking across the road doesn't strike me as forcibly impeding anyone; it's more of a passive impediment.

Thanks, I did not see your post before making mine. The impeding absolutely makes sense. What I don't understand is their questioning of people in ordinary circumstances - walking the neighborhood or going door to door in what I guess are ethnic neighborhoods. That seems unlawful to me.

The Supreme Court has given them the ok to question people based on nothing more than skin color, language, and a number of other factors. It’s a disgraceful decision, but it’s the way things are in Trump’s America.

Going door-to- door and intimidating people to letting you in or using a non-judicial warrant is a violation of the Fourth Amendment. As usual, it seems the US Constitution is only important to Republicans when it’s a right they like and want for themselves.

Preliminary records of Renee Good:

The records reveal that when paramedics arrived, they found Good unresponsive with a weak pulse.

According to a Minneapolis Fire Department incident report, medics found “two apparent gunshot wounds to the patient’s right chest,” one to the forearm, and another possible wound to the head.

Pulling your vehicle into the middle of the public road in front of an ICE patrol with the intent of impeding or interfering with ICE executing their federal law enforcement functions, it would seem, is a federal crime. At a minimum, it is probably cause for the law enforcement officers to investigate, which would involve the driver getting out of the car to answer questions.

Wasn't turning your wheels to the right and moving away from the traffic stop an intention to NOT impede the ICE action? If they felt the need for her to stop, weren't there far better ways than haphazardly filming with one hand, and opening fire with a high-powered pistol into the woman's face?

If they wanted her to stop, there were umpteen other methods. The chain with nails on it, roadblocks, Hell...why not cooperate with local LEOs and ask them to stop her? No....because that would mean ICE actuallly FOLLOWING laws and not acting with impunity.

Nick Fuentes celebrates the death of Renee Good: "I don't think there is anything tragic about it at all. I think it's good. I think it's good that George Floyd died. I think it's good that she died ... It's one less idiot in the world."
I don't know much about this guy; I've never listened to him, but this sounds like he's trying to manufacture outrage for the sake of outrage with a take like this. I'll be the very first to admit these insufferable white Karens are the most annoying people on the planet, but that hardly justifies wanting them dead. Educated? Yes. Dead? No. I think he's just trying to rile people (and I guess it's working.)

a whole lot of people are celebrating this. it's vile and disgusting
Hmmm. It wasn't too long ago that the right was screaming about people celebrating the death of someone. Funny how it is now okay. Maybe he should have his life ruined, be fired from his job, and be threatened with an arrest for celebrating a death. I mean, that's what the right were screaming for just a few months ago.

Democratic politicians have warned their electorate that they are in imminent danger from the police they are trying to maim and and murder. "Make no mistake. The people you are running over with your cars could literally kill you," said Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. "I am disgusted that Minnesotans are at risk of violence when committing vehicular homicide, and I'm going to do everything in my power to change that."

"I was screaming, I'm like, 'I have more kids out there, I have more kids out there,'" she said. "And people were screaming and running to my car, trying to grab the rest of my kids."

"He was the last person to come in, he was just like, lifeless, like, he had like, foam, like, around his mouth, and you can, he had tears coming out of his eyes," Destiny continued.

"I was giving him mouth-to-mouth, and people were calling EMS, trying to help."
Destiny says an ambulance eventually came, taking them to the hospital.

"While we were in the ambulance, they were still throwing those bombs," Destiny said. "And I remember the ambulance people were just telling my kids, like, 'it's okay, you're safe in here.'"

The Jacksons say they were taken to the hospital, and are all now okay physically, but are just beginning to cope with the mental toll of what happened.
