I think he’s alive. Any medical person involved in covering up his death would be in serious trouble.

But the lack of transparency is strange. If he is improving I don’t think a ten second video of him saying “Hey, everyone. The doctors are keeping me here for a while longer but I am looking forward to getting back to work for the people of the commonwealth of Kentucky. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers” would hurt.

I think you are required to report a death and submit a death certificate immediately after someone dies.
