I was watching some of the A day highlights this morning. One of the plays was a run from inside the 5 by Hill. I was a big Hill supporter last year. On this play though..he quit running and prepped for the collision at the 2 instead of running the defense over. He was tackled short of the goal...

Is it just me or has this been the slowest anything has come spring training ever? I mean, I haven't been starved for Tide football news due to my angst with all things nil and transfer portal. But I'd love to see some football news.

Cruised outta nawlins last fall. We did burbon street the afternoon before we sailed and i was 100% contact high that evening when we got back to hotel. Felt so bad the next morning, it pretty well ruined our first day on the boat.

Not taking up for beck but, he's a graduate that took classes last fall. He just isn't taking classes this semester/quarter. His college schooling ended when the fall semester ended. He can't help that football now runs 1/2 way thru the spring semester. :)

Play action will never work in this system until some sort of a resemblance of a running game is found. Could not understand the play action pass plays that were called the last 2/3's of the season. Everyone knew bama wasn't running the ball.

He said in the conference yesterday that the first 3 days last week were finals and the team only healed, did meetings and lifted. "Practice" didn't start till Thursday.

They've been keeping rb's and te's in for blocking. There's been a lot of max protect...and either the rb whiffs or the te whiffs or the right guard whiffs or the left tackle whiffs...every play its another. Not often the same guy play after play...but every play SOMEONE misses.

We kinda did. 21 of uga's points came off VERY short fields. Blocked punt (not ty's fault), tipped ball pic (not entirely ty's fault) and turnover on downs on their own 12 (not entirely ty's fault). The defense played a pretty dang good game.

and i think that goes back to the scramble/tackle against mizzu. There's a reason kidney punches aren't allowed in boxing and that tackle was like Hercules making a massive blow on one. I knew it when he got up, he was hurting.

A more mature player probably does put in "a lot of work to improve in the off season"...
