    PI non-call in freeze-frame sequence...

Honest answer: I'm sure teams do review film and complain from time to time on both missed and incorrect calls. Honest response: If I find anyone emailing this photo sequence to the league and I find out who it is, I will beat you senseless with a 2x4.

The Field looks ugly (watch the teasers)

There was a time when I would have said "No turf." But the new "fake grass" stuff is simply amazing. I covered an Ole Miss game earlier this year and it was soft and resilient, and very very realistic. I would have no problem playing on that stuff at all. I understand those who are purists...

Question: Pass Interference vs Defensive holding

The only person who had a better vantage point than me was the official who just flat decided not to make a call. It was pass interference, and there can be no argument.

BC Coach could lose job over interview w/Jets

Personally, I like this approach. If you owned a company and you found out that your top sales producer interviewed with another company, what would you do? Coaches under contract should be held accountable IMHO.

    John Parker Wilson's future plans

Exactly. Many recruits do not recognize the future benefit of being an Alabama player, compared to say, Ole Miss. The job opportunities are much more extensive and Alabama has a much larger alumni network for help.

    Non-football related help needed...

For my company, I am coordinating the sending of some care packages for soldiers. Basically, the owner of my company said that if we would fill some boxes, he would pay to ship them - which is a great deal. Right now, I have about 15 care boxes of food and other misc items ready to ship but...

Link: Exclusive game photos from Tulane

Eh, your zoom range might be a bit short for football but you have the basics. :-) I use a different philosophy for HS football. Do you have a flash? For HS football where using a flash is OK, I like to set my ISO to 800-1000, shutter speed to 1/250 (fastest sync speed), max aperture, and...

Link: Exclusive game photos from Tulane

I was using a Nikon D300 with a 400/2.8 lens that was borrowed (back to a 100-300/4 next time I shoot, unfortunately). I also had a Nikon D200 with an 80-200/2.8 lens around my neck for in close action. David

    Question: Gameday Photography

I would try this... 1. Set your camera to "A" or aperture mode. Adjust the aperture as wide open as possible with your lens, i.e., low numbers. In most cases, this will be 5.6 because you're gonna be zoomed out most of the time. 2. See where the camera computer sets the shutter speed...

Alex, question for you - how have you liked dealing with Replay? I signed the contract with them some time ago but have never submitted any photos. David

Go nuts with it, Brother. :-)

Question: Do we show everything we got in the first game?

We should line up and run our offense and defense to the best of our ability, using every tool in our arsenal necessary to win the game. Period. There is no good loss in the pursuit of a national championship.

    Nick Saban & Player pics

Just send me an email of exactly what you have in mind and I'll see what I can do. I have actually been going through my photo archives the last few days and have been distilling down player and coach pictures by name. David iglass@iglassphoto.com
