Guys, I read through this entire thread, and while there's a lot of opinions based solely on point-of-view (which is valid), there's also a lot of fallacious reasoning. For example: "Utah/Boise/BYU/TCU etc. need to earn their respect by scheduling tougher teams!", only to see a few posts later...

BYU's stadium is 10 minutes from my house, so I couldn't resist being there, especially since Utah's game doesn't start until 2pm local time. Look for an Alabama flag. :) RTR

You guys are great. You've been very hospitable and respectful. As an outsider who wants to become more ingrained with the culture of Alabama football, it's apparent why so many are proud to be Crimson Tide fans, and it makes it very easy to associate with the name and the people.
