I think the difference is there are 12 teams getting in. Last year UGA fell to 6 which would have still put them in if it had been a 12 team playoff instead of a 4 team playoff. I can't see them leaving out the SEC runner up in a 12 team playoff..... technically with no divisions in the SEC...

I think UGA may have out thought themselves on the decision to have two spies on Milroe most of the game. I think this may have stopped a scramble or two but it gave Milroe plenty of time to throw most of the time. Normally UGA always has pressure on the QB.
