Nope - Coleman Colesium. This team is fun to watch in the games I've been able to catch. They play hard and have numerous playmakers. Barker is the heart of the team.

One of the worst calls I have ever seen and it could have cost them the game. They put the cylinder rule in college basketball for plays like that. The LSU rapper girl stuck her face in Barker's cylinder, she pivoted with the ball, and smacked her lip with her elbow. I think because she was bleeding and Mulkey's carrying on, the refs ruled it intentional (maybe women's doesn't have flagrant 1 and 2?) and because Bama wasn't in the bonus (yep, LSU still had not committed enough fouls to have the bonus with 30 seconds left in OT), LSU got two shots and the ball only down 2. Fortunately, the girl only made one free throw and Bama's D stopped them. Great win!

It's the most important win this program has had in a long time -- the kind you can build on for recruiting and a touchstone for tough games in the future.

The manner of the win was big, too. Led most of the game. Yakked up a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter and lost their leader to a bad call with about a minute to go in regulation. LSU tied it up, and it looked like they might have rolled us in OT. But the team showed huge heart and hung on. Plus, whenever Mulkey takes a loss, it's good.

Curry has slowly built them up from under the ground to a legit team.

Nye played lights out. It was extremely fun watching her play before she fouled out. Intentional foul should never have been called. Refs are definitely intimidated and affected by Mulkey. I was saying last night that everywhere she goes, it's a classless team. LSU already was, so that was a match made in heaven ... or elsewhere.
