Bama is all over the top two Georgia prospects. They have already offered McCoy and Ambles.

Junior day: Here are six of Georgia’s best
DT Denzel McCoy, Northview: This 6-4, 275-pound lineman is a key target for Georgia Tech and Georgia. He’s got a dozen offers. He’s comparable to former teammate Cordian Hagans, an AJC Super 11 now at LSU, but is more suited to the interior.

WR Markeith Ambles, Henry County: Could Henry County have the best receiver prospect two years in a row? Teammate Ambles is the teammate of AJC Super 11 player Jamal Patterson, who has committed to Stanford. Ambles, a 6-1, 185-pounder, has offers from a dozen schools and has visited Georgia and Georgia Tech for games.

Intriguing tidbit on Steve Atwater Jr. If he can hit anything like his daddy, he will be a worthy addition to anyone's team.

That was a fun game to watch, I think Atwater was miked that game.

Jeremy Hester 2010 RB

I live in the Panama City area of FL and was talking to a guy who coaches at Arnold High on PC beach. He said they have a RB who has been pretty much unstoppable this year ( around 900 yards and 9TD's this year in 3 games) Allso said he came there courtesy of hurricane Katrina, he was displaced and settled in the area. Due to this tragedy, he lost a year of school, so he has the maturity of a senior but he's only a junior. Also of interest, the S&C program is top notch as they have won the state weight lifting title two years running. The kid has speed and strength and best of all, has said he is interested in BAMA! The coach said he's starting to recieve some interest even though he hasn't done any of the usual recruiting stuff. If you live in the area, you should really see Jeremy Hester play.

Re: Jeremy Hester 2010 RB

I don't know if those clips are from last year( his soph year) or not, but i know his coach said that he's about 180 this year and has amazing strength for his size.

Re: Jeremy Hester 2010 RB

The kid has talent.. He is fast and runs extremely hard. His size worries me.. He could be a possession type back or slot receiver.. I don't think he could be a starting RB for the tide.. Let's see how much he grows in two more year... Who knows...

How good is Chitty? He seems like a good athlete. How highly touted will he be?

Bama offered him as an athlete. He is more of an ATH than a QB. He is 6'3" and he has good quickness and speed but he lacks arm strength and accuracy as a QB. I think he projects as a WR in college and about the only place he would get a shot a QB in the SEC would be in the Auburn spread. I just don't see him playing QB even at the barn.

Gotcha. Thanks Surfer.

The kids going to the barn because of the spread offense are gonna be sorely disappointed. Tubby isn't giving it a chance to work and it will likely be scrapped next year unless he can find another OC and other assistants that know how to teach it.

Seems as if Chitty was lured to the barnyard by former teammate Spencer Pybus. I'm sure Ears is promising him a starting spot at QB though. :rolleye2:

2010 WR Jeremy Richardson from Springville, AL. has burst out big time this season. His rise as a top WR prospect is about as fast as Bama in the AP polls this season. His stats so far are really impressive. The story below from Rivals gives some good info on his rise as a top prospect this season. He likes both Auburn and Alabama a lot and he is planning on visiting Bama for the Kentucky game this Saturday. In his profile it indicates that LSU has offered him already.

Chitty Verbal Commits to Auburn

Northview QB an early commit for AU

I think CNS and staff were targeting this kid for a WR position. Auburn is a closer drive, and his family is not exactly rich, from what I have been told by a father, of a classmate of his...FWIW
