Alex Dickman let me know that he took an OV to Bama and Ohio State and was offered the chance as a preferred walk on at Bama he will accept.

All these guys probably could have gotten a scholarship at an FCS school and started. But they chose to pay their own way, likely never play and be cannon fodder on the scout team just to be part of the best program in college football. That's dedication.

He gave Prattville fits during the state championship game. I look forward to seeing what he'll be able to do for the scout team and possibly in games.

wonder if he has any experience as a long snapper? seems to have the body type we go with at that position.

And looking at his films, he is double teamed, still occupies the space, watching for the football, and still makes the tackle.

I watched the clip on Dickman and I sure wouldn't be shocked if he got on the field at some point. Seems to have a lot of "want to".

Yea, I can totally see him as a guard or a DT. Those are two positions where being stronger and more physical than your opponent outweighs being the better athlete. He definately has the size to provide us depth.
