This kid is from my home state and Bama is supposively in the running. I know its crazy early but hes supposed to announce tomorrow where he will go to school...not that that means anything. Any news on this kid? Im assuming if hes announcing this early hell be a Buckeye but just curious.

I think he's headed to OSU. Hate that Meyer is there, I'm afraid he's about to put the lockdown on the NE region.

everything im hearing up here is that he is choosing OSU...not surprising to me. The magnitude of Alabama football is not felt as strongly up here, I think people still want to believe OSU is a national power. The reality of the matter is unless Notre Dame does something remotely productive, the buckeyes will have their pick of players from Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.

So im guessing you dont follow recruiting. He has been lighting it up on the recruiting trail up there and in a short time.
I'm not a fan of Meyer as a person, but he's been successful everywhere he's coached at. Tim Tebow only threw 33 passes the first year Florida won their National Title under Meyer.
He was 22-2 at Utah and 17-6 at Bowling Green. He's a good coach.
IMHO, the main reason for Meyer's success is his ability to surround himself with other incredible coaches. His 2006 Florida Staff featured 5 current head coaches and 2 current Defensive Coordinators on the verge of becoming HC's.
another big 2013 recruit Marshall will be announcing on the 31st, from ohio and alabama is one of his finalist...i expect him also to choose tOSU
You guess wrong. I misread your post. Still don't know what you meant with the Casher, Winston, and Taylor part. Sounded like a dig at Bama, but maybe I'm wrong again.
