We do have Bulovas on campus now, so we hopefully don't have to worry about it. Rivals does list him as the #2 kicker, though. 247 lists him solely as a punter.Rtr but can he kick field goals? Asking for a friend
Just a question. How is it that the # 1 rated punter is only a 3* ? Is that somehow just inherent in being a specialist? Sure shouldn`t be related to how important the position can be ( vital, as we all know ).
Being the #1 punter in the nation doesn't mean he's one of the top recruits in the nation. Kickers are never highly ranked because they're kickers.Just a question. And I believe you would be wrong judging by the number of specialists signing LOIs every year. Most are walk-ons. Very few actually get scholarships out of high school. Thanks RTR, kind of what I thought. A denigration and dismissal of specialists with which I personally disagree ( and which I would wager that CNS and most other coaches do as well ). A guy who can consistently punt the ball 45 yards with good hang time and that can bounce a few out of bounds inside the 10 is a weapon, pure and simple.
