2018 Bold Prediction Thread

I truly believe this happens. There's already water cooler talk of a potential QB controversy, they lost A TON of JR/Sr leadership and Jr/Sr talent to boot. No way that doesn't impact them.

To me this is going to be the verdict on Kirby. How he manages a roster full of stars coming off the most successful season in Georgia history since 1983.

Yep, especially with a South Carolina team that is supposed to be pretty salty this season. I can easily see USCe upsetting UGA in week two and Boom going full ruh-tard after the game. Propelling him into an out of control celebration that makes Kirby and the dogs mad and a full blown melee commences on the field.

BOLD PREDICTION ^^^^

Well, GMac picked Clemson to win the CFPCG. That is bold, unless he has already moved out of state.

I believe this as well. I think they lose to USCe, auburn and Tech. If this does happen we will see 92Tide doing back flips down Peachtree Street and screaming woo hoo.

Since you didn't explicitly limit the bold predictions to Bama related. I'm going to give a few that aren't Bama related as well.

1. Damien Harris breaks the single season rushing record for Alabama (currently held by Derrick Henry)

2. Georgia and Clemson don't live up to expectations and drops one maybe two more games than predicted.

3. We finally have a consistent FG kicker.

4. South Carolina wins the SEC East

That's just too bold

1. Tua wins the Heisman
2. Auburn loses 4 regular season games and their bowl game; Gus in hot water
3. Michigan is in the playoffs, so is Bama, Clemson, and Washington
4. Waddle is SEC freshman of the year.

This simulation is a joke. Tua struggling in the game? Harris averaging -1 yard rushing? Too many missed field goals by our kicker? Too many flaws in the game, but I think the score is reasonable.. we might see 31-7. I do expect Louisville to drive us crazy for the first 2 or 3 series.

Whoever is doing this really stinks at this game.

Who updated those rosters since EA Sports isn't doing it anymore? That would be the best explanation for the weirdness in the simulation.

No wonder the simulation seems off. The updated roster only has two players with overall grades in the 90s - Jonah Williams and Raekwon Davis.

1. The Barn is going to single-handedly kill Washington's chances at the CFP.

Not because they blow-out the Huskies but rather because the Huskies, at the end of the season, will have lost to a four-or-five-loss team.

The Barn will beat Washington, perhaps by double-digits, and rise to a Top-5 ranking and lots of hype with a 5-0 record - only to lose four or five of their last seven games.

It's going to be an epic collapse.

Man, I could really get behind all of these things....especially if Bama got Michigan in Dallas in the CFP!

Auburn's season probably rest on them staying healthy. I think they are pretty thin at some positions and if they have a few injuries, you might be right, especially with games at Georgia and Bama late.

Rose Bowl would never get over a Michigan-Washington matchup in the Cotton or Orange.

I love #1, #2 is pretty dang bold and I think it would take injury for this to happen, #3 I'm genuinely starting to believe could happen
