Yeah I’ll believe it when I see it. Paying 5 million in coordinators while paying Ed 4 million will totally bankrupt their Athletic Department. They can theorize all they want to based on what Aranda gets paid but there is no way 9 million dollars is going to be paid between 3 coaches on 1 sport.
I would think O is going to get a big raise very soon even with their $ problem.

If this is true no way Ogre keeps him at LSU. He would be an absolute FOOL to turn that offer down.
Rhule was no FOOL in not turning down the fools who are fooling themselves paying him @$60M/7 yrs. - dough that wouldn't even go to a reincarnated Vince Lombardi, if anybody other than NFL-owning fools were paying it to Rhule...

Joe Brady is smart to stay at LSU at least 1-2 more years. He will be paid in line with NFL OCs (1-1.5 million) and will have a chance to be more involved. Just over a year ago, he was a lower level coach with the Saints. He brought tons of ideas to LSU, but this offense is not 100% Brady. He has a built in excuse (Burrow gone) if/when we take a step back next year. The NFL is a no excuse league. If he flops in Carolina with that diva QB they want back, his career takes huge steps back.

My understanding is Brady has “outs” for NFL coordinator or any head coaching positions. You’re right. It isn’t enough to make others wince at talking to him.
Even if Brady does leave, I think LSU will be good on offense. Ensminger learned enough this year from Brady and was supposedly play calling games. I bet Brady stays 1 more year. I noticed how well they used their tight end, Moss most of the season. And, next year they get Arik Gilbert. Bama's toughest games will be UGA and at LSU.

I know the SEC is the best, most competitive conference, but sometimes I wish it wasn't so difficult just to win the West. Clemson has it made for the next 5 years or more in the ACC. They basically only have to play 2 sometimes 3 tough games. Glad they lost last night. I imagine all the juniors will come back to try to win a championship next year.

Not really. If he bomb in Carolina, he can come back to College football and he will be okay. I still think he takes the Carolina job.... He needs to go now while the iron is hot. If he wait until next year and he struggle... then it may be a while before NFL comes calling.

My thoughts as well. His iron will not be hotter than it is now. NFL is a re-tread hiring league. So what if he bombs his first shot as an NFL OC? Trust me, he'll get another one. But he may not get the type money he can almost demand now.
