I didn’t appreciate it when we had it nearly as much as I should have.
He followed GWB. At first I just thought that the bar had been set too low in my mind, making him only appear to be much better. By the time he left office I knew that we had just experienced our best president in a generation.
I was unfortunately still mostly watching Fox News when I did pay attention to politics. So obviously everything he did was just the worst.
Thankfully we got rid of cable in 2012 & I slowly removed myself from that propaganda - even though here you still see it in tons of businesses.
Really I don’t know how good or bad H.W. was as a president, but I feel confident in saying that Obama was clearly the best and Trump is clearly the worst in my lifetime. Sure I had some serious problems with some of the things Obama did, but overall he was a great leader.
He would have made a better president than Reagan, but Reagan was what America needed at the time.
100% agree - I let my frustrations over (quite frankly, mostly petty) policy decisions cloud my judgement.
I'd take Obama in a heartbeat right now and thank the Good Lord for him.
I only began appreciating Obama at the very end of his tenure and have grown to really like him. Getting the hell away from Fox helped, but I was already on the path before then.

Well Biden responded. He said next to nothing, but what could he say. I mean, he could have said that he feels bad for this woman for whatever brought her to making this false accusation, but then he would even be attacked for that.
Those who didn't accept his previous denials can now stop their pretense that he has not addressed it, but they won't. This is not about the accusation for them, despite their false concern. This is about swinging votes over to Trump in any way that they can.

You know I really thought when Alies and O'Reilly went down that Rupert would be forward thinking enough to see that the vast majority his audience is getting closer to the grave either by age or cheeseburger so he really could use the opportunity to attract a younger audience. I really thought we could get closer to true conservatism and away from "you have to be this committed to bull crap to watch" programing. Boy was I wrong.
Biden has called for the senate to release any records pertaining to sexual assault/harassment. She says she filled a complaint at the time. If so it will be in these archives.
After all the years as an elected official, there has been no pattern of the type of behavior that he is accused of here. Wee shall see.
