Like many of you, this is early in the recruiting cycle and we should remember several things: UT has starting positions to offer. And as bad as we hate 'em they have decent traditions. It doesn't hurt that JP is a young, promising HC too. Also, remember how recruiting works. These are just "verbals" and I'd almost guarantee they'll lose a few of these guys just like all schools (including us) lose a few down the home stretch. Come this fall, this will level out and I'd be shocked if we are not right at the top again.

Yep. Two of our top recruits in the incoming '20 class were committed to OU before we flipped them (LB Sanders/RB McClellan) plus we are on a very good group of highly rated OL and DB's in this class.

There’s no doubt that Saban not being on social media and Not texting is affecting us in recruiting but at the end of the day what happens on the field is what will determine things. Idc how well tenn & UGA recruit if they don’t beat Bama on the field it means nothing.. #RTR I don’t mind tenn getting recruits because it keeps them from going to schools that can actually beat Bama.. lol

What? There is "no doubt"? How do you know this?

Just because CNS might not text and have a social media presence doesn't mean our other recruiters don't.

I mean that’s common sense, but with covid19 going on texting and social media is more prevalent. If a recruit having text conversation relationships with top head coaches but only a position coach from Bama. Who do you think would have the upper hand?

You do know texting/social media has been around well over a decade. I could have sworn we had 7 or 8 #1 classes in the last decade.
