Could just be geography in this kid's case - he's from out that way, right? Or maybe he just likes hideous uniforms . Remember the bad old days when a decision like this would devastate a Bama recruiting class?
Nice that we can just shrug our shoulders and wish him well when a top kid goes elsewhere.....

Not saying Alabama boosters might not do the same thing, and the Carlton family of Milo’s fame is a barn clan (Bo Nix endorsement).

But now that Boone Pickens is dead, and the Haslam family has legal problems unrelated to UTe, I don’t think anybody has a booster like Knight. He’s the de facto owner of Duck athletics.,

I am okay with that. College football has never been fair. This just changes the equation.

If Russell Athletic had come up with a shoe line when Under Armour come into the market. And Nike started making uniforms. We might have had a cash cow for Bama, but its would probably been for the cow college also (pun intended)

I definitely think Jack Sawyer and JT Tuimoloau will make a great DE duo, but I also definitely think JC Latham and Tommy Brockermeyer will be a great OT duo at Bama.

That would be a fun matchup to watch in the future!

That conference beginning to resemble the ACC in that it’s OSU ……and then a bunch of “others “? Not criticizing OSU for that, it’s just that the regular season becomes a series of preparations for the playoffs, a la Clemson.

He will definitely get great coaching. Coach Larry Johnson is a pretty good coach. That had to go into his thinking about who he would sign with.

It would be very nice to get either one, but luckily Bama has built some depth on the Dline with the last 2 classes for the first time in awhile. as long as we have quality depth and talent , the elite players will come. Barmore and Quinnen Williams are great recruiting success stories to sell to prospects. neither were highly touted nor highly ranked, but the development and coaching done by our staff is nothing short of amazing and their high draft status is a reflection of that concerted effort.

I know it might seem that way, but I think pound for pound, the Big Ten overall is second only to the SEC.
