We received a committment from Foley, AL WR Perry Thompson. I recall seeing a quote that Saban compared him to another Foley WR Julio Jones. Same size as Julio coming out of HS. Welcome and RTR Perry!

Thompson will be a 5 star stud sooner than later. Kid dominated top CBs in camps with ease. You can't teach height and speed as they say. His potential is off the charts!

He is very aggressive and likes fighting for the ball when it is thrown his way. He flat out gets after it in practice and in games.
But Reddit told me that only states with money (texas) can recruit well now. (Blue font).
If we can keep him. Who can say how much scratch will be on the table and from whom twixt now and then (?).
Not everyone is chasing the money and our money is not bad money. We will continue to sign the top class or right at the top for the near foreseeable future.
I have not seen his speed but guessing it is close which is fast.
Hoping he is just as productive and delivers some big plays like Julio!
Auburn is getting some underrated players in state. Thompson would be the best they have , if they can flip him.I hope he sticks with Bama, but if not we will recruit a player who doesn’t mind the competition. Some kids want things handed to them instead of being developed by competing with the best. I guess we will see which one Perry is.
