If Oats wants him, I want him. If we don't get him, I trust that Oats will find the right replacement. At the end of the day I didn't always agree or understand what Saban was doing, but I stopped worrying about it because I respected him as a recruiter, leader, and coach. Oats has grown on me over the years to almost that level. He has brought our team to a new set of expectations and standard. If he is good with a one and done, than I guess I am as well. I see the pro's and con's of a AJD type guy. I tend to agree with you and if our resources are limited it is smarter to tie up 4-5 million of NIL in 4-7 guys rather than just one, but I don't know the in's and out's of the payroll like Oats and company do.I think we have to realize that we are going to lose 60 to 70% of our roster each year. Our team is better when we are not focused on one player who has to score. Guys like that will demand 15+ shots per game. And what we need are six or seven guys take between five and 12 shots.
