Link: 2026 Transfer Portal

I'm not too worried about Horton and he's a perfect example of how the portal works now. Alabama needed a receiver and they got one. He played his part last year, he did as expected and had the team addressed other issues he could have been a key piece in a title run. That was last year though, he's a mercenary, you hire him for what you need and then part ways if it's advantageous.

His blocking skills were less than desirable

So why arent trying to find and sign Titus Ryan?

Seriously, there were guys from recent drafts 2022 on who went undrafted and unsigned who had eligibility remaining that probably would bring some maturity to our rosters. Why are we not trying to consider these as prospects in this era?

I hear Forrest Gump has filed a waiver for an extra year of eligibility. We now wait to see if he will enter the portal. Rumor has it, Texas Tech offered him $12 million to transfer.
