And the first penalty for faking an injury after the ball was set for the next play. time out charged.
The irony is that the player actually was injured. He just did not go down until after the ball was spotted.

It will take a little time for teams/players/coaches to fully understand new rules like that and how to handle them. I like the rule though......and generally I'm not a big "rule guy".....

Yep. If a player is going to go down because he cannot play (or even stand/walk), he had better do it quickly, before the ball is spotted for the next play.
Once the ball is put in play, he must get off the field before the next snap.

YoutubeTV gave me the first three weeks free so I am watching everything, even though my resubscribe date is Wednesday.
BTW, the NASCAR race has been good(NBC) desperation to get into the playoffs has resulted in chippy racing from the green flag.

I don’t watch a lot of NASCAR or racing for that matter, but 4-5 races a year are really entertaining. Especially the last race of the regular season last night at Daytona.
