A Few Questions about UAB

I've never been to a game at Young Memorial Field, but I have heard stories from people who have been about how you have to get there really early to get a seat. Will they not let you call the ticket office and reserve a seat and then pick up your tickets at the will call window? I looked on their website, and all I saw were links to order football and basketball tickets.

If they won't let you reserve seats in advance, how early must you get there to get a seat?

And, where is a good, safe place to park (assuming there is such a thing )?

I don't think that they have reserved seats at UAB. The fact is, they don't have many seats at all there. They will continue to sell tickets to anyone who wants one but if you are not really early, you will have to stand or sit on portable bleachers that do not offer very good sight lines. Good luck.

The real question is why are we wasting our time going over there to play at that sorry excuse for a stadium? Last year's game at The Met was the way to go.

That would be a great job for BJ Green to take over. i think BJ would be a great HC, he would be an awsome recruiter!

The UAB Game tomorrow night at 6:00 pm was to be at home, but due to Finals on May 4, we made a switch with UAB.

The game tomorrow will probably end up a wash out due to rain in the forecast (80 % and a lot in the evening) tomorrow night. :mad2:

It was scheduled for the Hoover Met on May 4th and blame this one on Final exams.

The real question is why are we wasting our time going over there to play at that sorry excuse for a stadium? Last year's game at The Met was the way to go.

There was such a small crowd there that I woundered if UAB made enough off the game to pay the rent to whoever they would have to pay it to (would that be the City of Hoover or the Barons?).
