We celebrated fathers day kinda early tonight due to the fact my daughter is leaving for church camp early, and my wife and kids were kind enough to get me The "Alabama Football Vault", a book put out by Jay Barker. What a great book it is! It is like a scrapbook sorta with photos attached and tickets and program covers in miniature to go along with the stories of Bama football thru the years. Did not know this book was even out which makes it all the better. Hope everyone else fares as well. Also got a nice crimson polo I plan on using at 8:10 am Sunday at Marcus Pointe golf course here in Pensacola.....so what did everyone else get???

My kids live a good ways away but they sent me an autographed football from the 2005 Bama team. Lots of good autographs on the ball, Bino, Brodie, Tim Castile. Darby, McClain, Tyrone Prothro, all the coaches even Bob Connelly plus Mike Shula and daddy Don Shula. I haven't counted the number of autographs or those I would like to erase but I will treasure the ball because of who gave it to me and the spirit it was given in. Bless their hearts they don't follow Bama football like I do. The good autographs by far outweigh the ones I don't care for.

That sounds closer to what I do. :biggrin: Last month I was in a Relay for Life four man best ball tournament and our team actually used a few of my shots. Of course, I wasn't playing with Tiger and Phil so take it FWIW. :wink: I was the best dressed guy on the team though. Sweet! Playing bad never looked so good. :eek::cool2:

I got the book as well. It is outstanding. I can't wait to really get a chance to dive into it full force. Alot of great memories.

I got the book also. Have not had time to dive into it but what a great gift for Father's Day. It will help me get to September easier. I also think there is an order going to Simon soon...

If I shot an 80 on the course, someone would throw a party and declare a national holiday!:BigA:

Man I Got the same gift and love it. The replicas of the old flyers and tickets are just too real. I love and the good thing is my family knows what to get me.
