This ACC Football championship has always been played in Florida. This year it moves to Charlotte (its natural home) and this game will sell out this year.

Charlotte or Atlanta would be much better. The Florida thing has been a flop except for the first year or two. Charlotte would be a good venue.

Yep. Atlanta would've been a good fit, but we got there first. :tongue: Weather issues aside, Charlotte should've always been the second choice, imo.

Why couldn't the ACC Championship game be played in the Georgia Dome on either a Friday or Sunday night? Or as I mentioned once before, why not have a double header ACC kickoff at 2 and SEC at 7? Atanta could use an economic boost.

The double header is a romantic idea, but the ACC and SEC Championship Games are used as a showcase for their respective conferences. I know Mike Slive wouldn't be too keen on having to share the limelight. I also doubt the ACC wants to have the compare and contrast of Clemson v Ga Tech and Alabama v Florida. Can you blame them?
