News Article: Alabama lands nine on 2020 CBS Sports Preseason All-America team

Wide receiver DeVonta Smith, offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood, linebacker Dylan Moses, cornerback Patrick Surtain II and punt returner Jaylen Waddle were named to the first team. Leatherwood and Moses were among the nine unanimous selections. Running back Najee Harris and offensive guard Deonte Brown landed on the second team.

Waddle accounted for three of Alabama's nine spots on the preseason All-America team, as the junior was also two-time, second-team selection as a receiver and all-purpose player.

The Crimson Tide led all schools with five first-team selections and nine overall players on the team voted on by CBS Sports and 247Sports experts.
