I like Wilbon. He does kinda bash Bama a little bit, but it's mainly the Alumni mafia that he doesn't like. I agree with him. I think he understands that not all Bama fans are bad though.

And don't take it personal when he, and others, bash Saban. Tubby did the exact same thing that Saban did, but no one cared. Because Tubby going from Ole Miss to AU is not a national story. Nick Saban from the Miami Dolphins to the Alabama Crimson Tide most definitely is. So be flattered.

I thought they were hard on CNS for bringing up the "lying to Dolphin fan" nonsense. There is a lot of coachspeak out there. I think they read too much into the attendance saying that we have unreal expectations. I think it was more of an excitement around the new coach and new direction of the program.

fwiw, I remember Wilbon (among others) took up for Bama when Fran bolted to aTm...he brought out the whole "hold the rope" deal and said the kids on the team deserved better...
