I agree 100%. There's no doubt in my mind that Ron is a better "pure" point guard than Mo ever was. Mo was a terrific talent, but he looked to score first most of the time, and he had lapses in his judgement. Ron's a better shooter and he could score a heck of alot more if he really wanted to. They're both very talented, but I'd have Ron as my starting point guard.bamaslaw said:I'm having trouble seeing how yall think Mo was better than Steele.
Let's look at stats of Mo's last season vs. Ron's this year.
MO RON
ppg 16.4 14.3
FG% .409 .415
3pt% .317 .412
ft% .838 .892
ast/to ratio 1.30 1.59
steals 36 45
mpg 35.8 38.4
I can see how they're close, but I don't see how Mo was better than Ron.

So was Maurice Williams. He only played 2 years at Bama.rgw said:.. Plus, Steele is just a sophomore ..
Generally yes. He's had some not so good games, but usually those were against better teams. He really improved in 2006, looking to score much more.rgw said:.. and is getting better every game it seems.
