Now am I incorrect or didn't BOTH teams play in the SAME STADIUM in the SAME WEATHER? Or were my eyes deceiving me?

The other thing is your loss came in November, not September, it matters how you’ve played recently, that’s why you were in last year. You finished your year on a high, but the week before you lost at home to a backup quarterback. You lost your second last game of the year, you didn’t win your conference, you didn’t win your division, your most difficult non-conference game was at a 6-6 ACC team that didn’t play FSU or Clemson. You’re right where you belong. If you want to make a case for two B1G teams in the playoff, you should be making you argument for Iowa.

I have not wanted Notre Dame to win a game since 1966. I will make an exception when they play OSU in the Fiesta Bowl.

Yes, Ohio State’s schedule is not great, but that shouldn’t really matter if you are truly trying to include the “Four Best Teams.” Hell, I created a 56-team link that has 2-10 SMU beating Alabama. Yes, it’s legit.

The greater irony is fans of Rust Belt football teams for years have drooled about getting Alabama et al above the Mason-Dixon line to play in bad weather. Now, what are they whining about? -- The Weather!!
