i am not liking what i am watching regarding the sec performances. i find the tenn game, similar to the lsu game. need a rules change to eliminate what happened in that one. but, georgia looked completely over confident in that game. time for mark to leave. his off line was pathetic. murray had no time to pass. i mean the usa champ, beating teams like army, smu, holding ga to 6 points. and now what is happening to usc. garcia once again, out in space. they have not played a good game since beating bama. what goes. are we in for a big surprise tomorrow? i am worried now. what say you?

I really don't care as long as we win. I actually hope USC East gets beat, but then again I'm an FSU Alum.

UT played hard and should've won their game. UGA,well...if you've watched them play any this year, then this game should've come as no surprise to you. They're not a very good football team. Lot of great individual talent, but they're not a good team. And Carolina is hanging tough. They're not the same team without Lattimore, as we've seen a couple times this year.

The SEC is looking real bad, the Ga. loss is a real embaresssment for the SEC. Tenn had the game won but WHTH happenbed in the last minute? As usual USC sucked in the bowl game(if only the season was 5 games long) Hopefully the rest of the SEC teams can do better.

Kinda puts an end to all the smack talk we've been pouring out in the last few years about us being the best conference and all... I'm finding it quite a humbling experience. We'll see what happens with SEC West teams, but the East has thoroughly sucked thus far.

I am just torn with all this. I like to think these big time recruits see how pathetic these teams are and how they will more than likely not play for a national championship any time soon with them. Georgia and Caroli na's losses seem to help us there. Tennessee still has discipline issues on the field or they would have won. I want the conference to do well for strength of conference sake, but as long as we win I know I will live. Roll Tide and Happy New Year!

C. audio, you sound like a Big 12 fan or for sure, an OU fan. We've never had a thing for the conference and relish the losses by our rivals; i.e., UT, Ok. St., and Nebraska.

These games mean nothing. In many cases the favored team doesn't want to be there and is still down due to unfulfilled expectations. Or, the underdog looks @ the game as a statement/opportunity and over achieves.

We beat the ever loving crap out of Florida State but spit the bit in Columbia and College Station.......I cannot explain it. All I know for sure is we'd better be mentally ready tomorrow night or we could very well get embarrassed again.

I also know that our rematch @ the Doak next Sept. 17th is going to be a war.

Me and audio are one on this issue. Bama has had rivals teams coaches and institutions actively seek to destroy its program all while their fans revel in our troubles. It is very hard to forget those nuggets for a lot of and it ruffles our feathers when other Bama fans suggest we should root for teams just because they are in the SEC.

So far, so good. As long as Bama wins, all else doesn't matter to me.

Screw 'em all.

^^^ This * 2 ^^^

And as a note, I believe the SEC went 6-4 in the bowls last year...not a stellar performance but at least Bama won it all. Thus far, the SEC is definitely looking weaker than last year, which helps explain Auburn's pristine record to date.
