Any News on Mike Ford?

How's Mike doing? Is he still looking on trac to be with Alabama in the Fall? Just checking with anybody in the know.

From the latest I heard he was only 1 point short on his ACT score. He has the grades in the classroom just needs that test score. I think he'll make it in the summer to the Capstone. This guy will be a terror from the start.

since I haven't heard much on the last ACT attempt- which should've been scored by now- I'm taking it that no news is bad news. However, another strong semester and he'll make it in by raising his GPA.

does that mean if he doesn't get the 1 point more that he needs on the ACT he will be allowed to enroll at Bama because his GPA is strong enough? Sorry. Just having a hard time understanding the academic end. Didn't know if he had to have is the ACT high enough AND his GPA in good shape or if he could be allowed to enroll with one or the other.

He can get in either way: by raising his ACT a point with his current GPA, or by getting his GPA high enough with his current ACT.

Ford has done well in the classroom, but gets major test anxiety. He's done well considering he has a learning disability-- which is one of the reasons he's able to replace class grades from HS.

I took the ACT the last time it was administered on Feb. 11th. My scores have still not become available online, altough my friend has been able to get his online. It is different for every person as to when they are accessible, but hopefully for Mike it means that his hasn't been graded yet.
