VERY interesting! Apparently the quality of your opponents is not a significant consideration in making the decision on team poll location for many of these AP voters. It is only a 'did the team win' or 'did the team lose' decision.

Right now the undefeated teams will be ranked before the one-loss teams. If Bama wins out, it will jump some undefeateds I'm sure. Things will work out. Just give it time.

Also, voters have to think about this: Bama lost to a team beat by Auburn (an undefeated team). That means Auburn should be ahead of Alabama. This thinking can change over the next few weeks.

We beat Arkansas on their home field and he vaults them back to number eight the next week because they barely beat Texas A&M???

Which just happens to be the only decent team they've played besides us.

Don't see the logic in that one at all.

I could see us dropping as low as 10. But that's as low as I could have gone.

That will be a scenario: Auburn loses to Arkansas [who was beat by Alabama (who lost to USCe (who lost to Auburn))]. Talk about confusing stuff.
