Which is it? Good coverage and tight throws or it was crappy coverage?

As an aside - there QB threw 91 touchdowns his senior year of high school.
Crappy coverage. Pass defense has been our negative forte under Willy Robinson. Their QB was no slouch, but our cushions were ridiculous, and we couldn't run with them. Were it not for a ton of dropped balls, he would have likely thrown for 500, and they might have won.

The Razorback hunting season is officially opened. It won't be too long before the grills are fired up, the pork is on the grill, and the kick-off is upon us. Let's just hope we don't hear too much woo pig sooie calls in Tuscaloosa Saturday.

Arkansas had 175 yds rushing against Troy. In the SEC, if you can't run, you lose. Arkansas has no run game and will be wishing for Troy, once they encounter this 2011 Alabama defense. If we stop, their passing attack as well, it will get ugly......and painful for Arkansas.

Here's to my favorite week of our football season! From this Hog fan, I hope we have a good, hard-fought, injury-free game.

Best of luck my friends.

I like your astute analysis and strongly worded opinion. ;)

Those that know me know I'm not fond of smack. I really believe their punter will have more yards than their passing stats and their O gets less than 60 snaps.
Arkansas hasn't shown one faze of a championship type team.(so far)

I'm sure I'm not the first one to say this, but IMO this game will boil down to one thing: the ability of our DL to "affect the QB" (as Coach says). Even though Wilson is not that experienced, their WRs are good enough to get separation if given time and our secondary will get beat if we allow the QB too much time.

Glad to see SwineFlew back. Where is Jean Claude VanHamm? :D

A buddy of mine sent these stats to me...

The last time Arkansas beat Alabama ...

* The starting quarterback for Arkansas was Mitch Mustain.
* Peyton Manning had not won a Super Bowl and Albert Pujols had not won a World Series.
* The No. 1 song on the Billboard 100 was SexyBack by Justin Timberlake.
* The No. 1 movie in the box office was Jackass: Number Two.
* Nobody had ever heard of Justin Beiber, Lady Gaga, Sarah Palin, or Twitter.

Looking forward to a good game. Here's to hoping that the hogs take what they did in the first half last year and multiply it by two. I just hope we have enough juice left to beat aTm the next week!!

Back in 2003, while based at Columbus AFB, MS, I went to Tuscaloosa and watched my hogs win after like 3 or 4 overtimes. I was sitting in the lower level and everyone around me were Alabama fans. The were all really cool folks. My wife and I ended up going with them after the game to some great BBQ place - they ended up paying for my meal...real class acts.

Best of luck this weekend.
