At home with the Sabans

Terry Saban appeared at the door of the ivy-covered, French chateau-esque home with a warm smile and gracious welcome. The first family of University of Alabama football was packing for their annual trek to Lake Burton in northern Georgia, but there was no sign of chaos or clutter. In fact, Terry curled up in the cozy backyard porch couch and chatted as if she didn’t have mounds of errands left to do before the whole family left town.

I searched and couldn't find that anyone had posted this yet. This article gives a bit of insight into the Saban household.

The best part is what CNS did with his first bonus. If anyone calls him Nick-Satan after reading that then they are even more of a moron then I thought.

That almost made me shed a tear......almost.

I kinda like this part....

Kristin is a friendly, outgoing cheerleader at Tuscaloosa Academy and enjoys hanging out with friends, going out on Lake Tuscaloosa and doing office work for her dad.

While it was hard to leave her good friends in Miami, her eyes sparkle when she tells of how much she likes Tuscaloosa now. Her friends from Miami still visit, and one of the first places she takes them is Taco Casa. She even hints that she’d possibly like to attend the University of Alabama when she graduates high school.

“I love being part of the whole Crimson Tide excitement,” she says.

Those Sabans sure are doing a good job pretending to be happy in Alabama. Maybe one day soon the LSU job will open up and they can drop this charade.

Very nice story I heard about this this morning on Sportsline with John and Barry. I dont see Saban or his Family leaving anytime. I believe they are in for the long hall here, and once Saban is done they will go to there House at the Lake. Just like he said when he came to Bama!!!

That was great. Thanks BM for sharing. The Sabans sound like good folks. If Coach Saban was so bad, why did Huzanga (Miami's Owner) stick up for him so much? I think the term that he used was he is a Nick Saban fan. I was a fan of Coach Saban for what he can and is doing as our coach early on, but I am becoming more and more a fan of Nick Saban "the person".
