Haha, Jam, you are the man when it comes to recruit photos. What are your guys telling you?
His brother is supoosedly trying to talk him into recommitting (what is been said from somewhere else)the family is on our side and always has been but IMO the rb commiting to The burn might have helped show him the light who really knows with him. If anything happens with him it will be on NSD

I made the comment earlier in the thread, but how does he feel with them taking a RB commit this week while also still going after Crowell?

Folks, like BET I'm just calling it like I see it. All I did was give my opinion and said he doesn't look very happy--draw your own conclusions. Earlier in the evening I'm told he looked like he was having a great time at Wings U. in Tuscaloosa--so go figure. All I'm doing is taking the young man at his word--he's a Barn COMMIT and he looks like to me in that picture he would rather be somewhere else. I'm with BET--I think we would be much better off giving this scholly to someone else.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm guessing that Calloway doesn't get onto campus (for this visit) unless CNS wants him on campus. And I don't think CNS wants him to visit unless he wants him on the team (and on Saban's terms).

Again, maybe I'm all wrong, but if Saban wants him, then I guess he has a better take on this kid and his potential at Bama than anyone else. I'll have to hold with that.

I would be happy if Brent C came back to Bama. Heck, he is just a kid and I know when we were all kids we made decisions and changed them a hundred times.

Easy there relayer, you know logic does not apply to recruiting situations. ;)

All the stuff about what position he would play if he were at UA or at aubarn is insignificant to me at this point. I'm with his dad on this one.....the kid totally handled this the wrong way all around. That's why I can judge him and say he made a mistake. Forget the stuff about him being a kid and having to make the right decision for himself. He didn't even discuss the switch with his parents or Saban. He made a mistake and hopefully he tries to amend it with all parties involved instead of just ignoring and hiding from it. I would regain respect for the kid then even if he doesn't switch back. Surely he knows aubarn is full of BS by now and realizes he could be costing himself an NFL career.
I agree!!!

The hasty decision to flip can be chalked up too immaturity. Now's the time to "man up", no matter what color jersey he wears. If he does and CNS wants him, great. Either way the Tide will roll on.

I am sure that BC, or someone he knows reads this board, and with that said, if CNS wants you back we are behind you 100%. Remember this Mr. Calloway CNS has always shot you straight and is going to play you where he thinks you have the absolute best chance to make it to the next level, so ROLL with the TIDE and know where you stand, or best of luck to you!

If he wants to come back to UA he's got to understand that if CNS thinks you should play in a certain position then you need to be 100% dedicated to that spot and do everything you can to succeed in that position. He would have to redshirt b/c he looked terrible at LB in the UAAA game and if they want him at safety then he'll definitely redshirt with no experience. If he has any delusions of playing any other position then he should stay at AU and be forgotten. I don't want to see him come to UA and turn into BJ Scott b/c Scott was a talented player that wanted to play a position that CNS didn't think fit him and by the time he went to the position CNS wanted him in, it was too late

I figure it probably went down like this"

Brent: "Mom, pop, I have made a terrible mistake by letting some spin masters make me think I as the best RB since Bo Jackson but all the time planning on playing me on defense. What can we do to right the mess I have made?"

Pop: "Son, all we can do is go to Tuscaloosa, tell Coach Saban the truth about what happened and how we feel about Bama.......then it will be up to him whether you wear the Crimson and White or play for those men who misled you.

If Brent can "man up" and apologize to Coach Saban for the way he has handled things, if Coach Saban thinks he can help bring in #14.......I certainly won't be against it.
