Auburn Conspiracies After the Georgia Game

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

I was watching and it seemed to me that the officials were on the verge of losing control of the game. The Auburn fans at the game were incensed and I am not surprised they are seeing conspiracies here.

"The SEC knows the ratings for UGA and Bama being in the playoff in the same time is a gold mine for them, they can’t allow any other team to upset them or take that chance away"

The typical barn fan mindset when they lose.

No it’s has been knocked loose at that point has soon as the ball moves he loses possession.
Yes I completely agree. The broadcast showed the view I screenshotted earlier in this thread like 10 times. The announcers didn't happen to mention that his forearms, NOT is hands were on the ball?

Yep, that's exactly why Alabama lost two one-score games that a bad call in either case would have helped us win and put us in the SECCG last year against Texas, right? It's why we didn't have our momentum taken by one of the most preposterous calls removing a TD I've ever seen against OU last year, right?

It's why in 2022, the refs kept the Vols alive with bad calls - and if we had just won that one game, we would have played......checks notes.....Georgia....

And we are a huge draw, so why did we get passed over for a some lesser two-loss teams last year for the playoff?

I mean, we can cite example after example as to how insane this is.

WE all know by now the fans and people who support Auburn athletic aren't quite logical or rational at times, but as most Bama fans predicted, they have gone to the deep end after the colossal lost last night.

They blame the loss on Gmac because he's a former Bama alum who is commentating on their game.
The head ref is from Tuscaloosa.
The refs allowed Georgia to play without any penalties in the second half.
The SEC Office is corrupt to the core, and it's based in Birmingham.
The SEC wants to see a Top 5 matchup between Georgia and Ole Miss.
They want to leave the conference because they can't compete with incompetent coaches.

This is pretty much the same rant after a huge loss year after year from those insufferable fans on the plains.
You hate to see it, but....wait a minute, no we don't! ;)

The play happen near halftime. What is their excuse for their team's play in the second half?

Auburn had a chance to win that game after the controversial play. Blame the refs, fine it's cliche, whatever but Auburn stans have to blame their team for failing to produce in the second half.

So if the score had counted, they would have had 17 points.

They still gave up 20 unanswered and would have lost anyways, if my math is correct...

I cannot imagine the vitriol spewing forth on whatever fans sites they have...I've never been to one and am not starting now. I have never seen a call like that made against the home team...was totally shocked...shocked...the conspiracy must run deep. LOL.

That’s not really how it works though…
17-0 @ the 1/2 would’ve been a brutal mountain to climb…especially while still under 100 total yards.
Momentum and voodoo may have changed the outcome dramatically…not may have, would have.

Auburn coach’s body language post-game (win or lose) leaves a lot to be desired.

And their AD jawing/chasing officials as they left the field at halftime—I hope that doesn’t become acceptable decorum.
That person was the AD? I thought it was an assistant or position coach. Yikes! You have to be the bigger person and take that up with the league office, not in front of all those public eyes.

I agree.

That call swung the momentum to GA which allow the Bulldogs to finally get going. How that TD counted, I'm not sure GA would have come back and won.

Stop inserting logic into the argument. The last line of “The Auburn Creed” reads :

“If all else fails, I’m allowed to reject your reality and insert my own.”

Live, it looked to me that the first hit knocked the ball loose and the second knocked away. Didn’t understand why the announcers couldn’t see that.

If you haven’t watched the SEC Final show, Chris Doering goes off on a nice rant about this. Essentially telling Auburn to not let it come down to calls. “Try holding onto the ball. Don’t let em drive 88 yards and get a field goal before the half. Don’t come out in the second half and go 0-6 on third down. Don’t get 49 yards of offense. How about fighting back a little bit when something happens.”

Uga would have gotten the ball in better position after the ensuing kickoff than their own one yard line.Perhaps even scoring a td rather than a fg.

I'm surprised Doering and logic go together!
