Auburn fans reach a new level of bitterness

I trolled around for awhile on ITAT about an hour after the Heisman ceremony, and there was not one word of congratulations from anybody. NOT ONE!!.

That's not entirely true. I was on the ITAT board and saw a post "Congratulations Mark Ingram....", so I clicked on it. Low and behold, the message on the inside was (i think) "but the fans can still kiss my ***"

I got sucked into reading a couple of threads over there. Man do they hate us, the players and Coach Saban! There are a couple that try to speak some sense, but they are immediately called 'bammers' (a term I find quite hysterical... ooooo he called me a ~bammer~, rofl).

Anyway, I'm just glad those poor trees at Toomer's weren't assualted due to us again.:hurray:

"Alabama Polytechnic Institute.....we are the red-headed step child of the SEC.....and proud of it. Yesterday, today and tomorrow...moral victories are a part of our lives."

I am just amazed by all the ALABAMA hate on those boards. It might be true I dis-like the barn, but I dont worry about them as much as they worry about us. Most of the post are filled with lies, its amazing. And they say we have no class. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!

Please remember and be sure to remind each and every Auburn alum or fan of the fact that ........
They celebrated the 50th anniversary of their one and only National Championship. war tiger, or go bird or something. (Just flow with it, their spoken language is not their strong suit.)

There are some terribly pathetic peddlers of irrational hate in that fanbase. It's somewhat understandable (although still sad) when people fester hate over political issues or social issues because those truly have a huge effect upon our lives. However, football is a game and is supposed to be an affirmative activity for people. It is sold as a way for participants to learn teamwork, sportsmanship and self-motivation.

Some people however have placed an unhealthy emphasis on winning at any cost. When fans are conspiring to destroy athletes' eligibility, supporting attempts to injure them and belittling their hard-earned achievements just for the sake of victories in which the fans have only a illegitimate interest, it seems that they have lost sight of the spirit of athletics. Is a victory really still a victory to the victor if the spoils are spoiled?

Unfortunately, I don't think that the general fanbase recognizes just how irrational some of their number truly are. There are some irrational fans in the Alabama fanbase, but they seem more targeted at the Auburn fanbase than the institution itself. Some of the Auburn fanbase seems completely willing to destroy the futures of student-athletes and do damage to the academic institution itself for the sake of wins on the football field. It is likely that this will end badly for both universities if someone doesn't step in and exert some control over the situation. It's like a mutually-assured destruction scenario and both schools could end up destroying each other.
I give you a well deserved standing ovation. Very well said. I have been thinking this for a long time, just could not put it in to words, like you have. Thanks. ROLL TIDE!

There's just one thing to say about Auburn's Bitterness...

GOOD!!!!!!!!!

If they paid as much attention to Auburn Football as they do to 'All things BAMA',
They might have won more games. Now the Lee County Complainers can go take another 'Pity Pill'. I hear it goes well with a dose of 'Crow'...

While we prepare for Texas, Auburn can prepare for a 'Directional School'.

The REC did it

That picture's hilarious. I wonder if Mark Green's head exploded last night when they announced MI as the Heisman winner.

Saban's Powerful University of Alabama Team

I like that.

I love it!!! If you arent being hated on then you arent doing anything worth being noticed. They are going to hate us even more after we bring home #13. For any barners reading this please keep the hate up. It is awsome being hated again!!!

I'm not surprised, because I have known for years their color orange comes from mixing cow patties and something the cats spray around...what do you expect from barners?

That picture is hilarious.

If I read every one of Mark Green's idiotic posts, came up with the psychological profile to model him and then was provided an unlimited budget to create the completely accurate human caricature of that profile, I could not have come up with anything that improves upon that picture.

Seriously, when I look at that picture... I can't even describe it. There are some symbols that are universal, such as motioning to the mouth to indicate hunger. I'm thinking that this photograph is the universal symbol for some psychological state for which a description and name may never be available to the human race. If the General Accounting Office were submitted the projects "Invent, Implement and Commoditize Affordable Time Travel" and "Determine an Adjective for Mark Green" and asked to determine the cost of each, the latter would probably be far more expensive.

I just believe that if aliens landed and Mark Green was the first human that they encountered, they'd immediately take off and deconstruct the earth into a quark-gluon plasma to protect the universal gene pool from any possible contamination from humanity. If Mark Green had lived 10,000 years ago, he would not have been eaten by sabre-toothed cats. They would merely have covered him in a sand pit.

But, of course, Scout (with decisions like this, no wonder they're going broke) makes him a moderator of their local interest site. :eek2:
