Yeah, this unit isn't gonna be good enough to shut down great offenses...but they have that 2010-type mix on defense. The offense needs to be highly effective so they can turn the front four loose for sacks and turnovers. The offense hasn't looked great so far which is the positive I'm taking. If the offense gets back to typical Malzahn form then this pass rush could be tough for teams.

I thought he looked fine. They moved the ball on AU with him at the helm. Not sure what their play was supposed to be on the fumbled hand off though. Bobby doesn't seem like he's one to stick with a guy when things get tough

He's looked too hesitant to me. We'll see next drive if he can clear his mind and get with it. His line is not helping him at all.

I find this auburn offense interesting. They don't seem to have the star power they have in years past. None of the skill players just stand out like Coates, Artis-Payne, and others did. I know Williams is a beast, but none of the backs strike me as more than system players.
