Saban is as geeked about taking Tubby the monkey off his back as any Bama fan alive. "Our goal is to dominate our rival. Not a day goes by that this is not on our mind."

Since Auburn is really an inferior recruiting rival, their presence and really there recent dominance are a plus for Bama. Once we turn this rivalry around, Saban will look west to Baton Rouge for reversing this rivalry. Then, he will look nortward to UT and NW to Arkansas. Once we reverse all of these there is always Georgia and Florida. Once these are mastered, we're back on top of the SEC where we all want to be. This could take 5-6 years, but I think we wil all be more than ready to see the glory days once again.

tigerland

There is 1 thing from numbersman's post that I'd call delusional: 5-6 years ?:conf2:?
I'd suggest cutting that in 1/2 . :BigA:

Between 1969 and 2000, LSU never beat Alabama in Baton Rouge. 31 years without a home victory for the Tigers. Before 1969, LSU had only beaten Bama back-to-back in Baton Rouge once (1946 & 1948).

To think Bama couldn't regain competitiveness against, and possibly mastery of LSU, is to ignore history.

What a stupid statement. Ever check the all-time series record? It's 43-22-5 in favor of BAMA in spite of your recent success. Delusional is thinking it WON'T change.

Love you, TommyMac! Excellent read on facts! :biggrin2:
Roll Tide!:BigA:

Speaking of "burple & yeller Elton John eye ware" would anyone around here happen to have a copy of that wonderful little endzone kissing picture from 2 years ago. That one always made me crack up.

Bama fans were also "delusional" for thinking we would ever have Nick Saban as a football coach.....we all know how that went.

Keep in mind also which team won the last shutout in the series...

The idea that LSU dominates Alabama in any way, even at this point, is delusional. LSU dominated Bama in one game--2001. That's all I'll give ya, Boudreaux and Thibodeaux.

Remind me.. what is our record against you guys in the last 6 years?

Saban didn't dominate Tubby when he was at LSU

Tubby has a winning record against saban

You always have to put up boundaries to make yourself look good. Sure, the last 6 years have been the lowest period in Alabama football history. It's like us bragging about beating you when you had Curley Hallman.
