I would need an elevator to get into it!My oldest brother along with his wife and their 3 cats are visiting from Virginia. Towing their travel trailer and staying at our local RV campground for a week. Really nice place.
Last night we met at Mom's for take-out Chinese.
I couldn't resist a pic of their new 1 ton Silverado next to my new Volvo wagon. David and Goliath, for sure!

Soon after I got transferred to the naval base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. At the time, there was this Dodge commercial with a stereotypical southern police officer—big guy, big sunglasses—who pulls over a Dodge driver. He says, “Boy, you’re in a heap of trouble.” We were driving cross-country, the baby in a bassinet in the back (the rules were different then), and we got pulled over in Arizona. The officer said, “I’m sorry I pulled you over. I’ve never seen one of these cars in the flesh!” We had a video camera. He smiled into it and said, “You’re in a heap of trouble,” just like in the commercial.
Sounds like Brother in Law has a tall 5th wheel. Lots of room inside, but the 5th wheel in the bed of your truck takes up a lot of room. Barbara Ann and I have gone to the RV Trade Shows, and went thru everything there. 5th wheels take many steps to get inside, and with the slides pulled out, a lot of room inside. I just never loved them.I would need an elevator to get into it!![]()
