OK, only been vaping for two and a half weeks now and still using an entry model (eGo with upgraded 900mAh bats and a 1000mAh passthru). But I love it! And I haven't used an analogue or even wanted one since Friday, the 31st.

I know I can't be the only Crimson Vaper. All you ex-smokers/current vapers out there, time to chime in! Be loud and be proud!

Really thinking about trying them. I've been doing some pretty hardcore workouts for a couple of months now, so I feel and probably look a lot better. Just gotta put down the cancer sticks now.

went cold turkey at 1/1/11 about 2AM and have had no nicotine since. First couple of days were tough. No issues now

Use whatever works. If it's E-Cig/Vapers, use that. Gum, pills, mints, hypnotism, electric-shock I don't care.

Any trick in the book and whatever works for you.

I quit 9 years ago and it was anything but cold turkey.

Good luck to you.

I'm actually not looking to quit the nicotine. I enjoy nicotine too much. I am however looking to quit the tar, arsenic, and all that other crap that you take into your lungs when you inhale the smoke produced from burning tobacco. I'm not treating this as a way to wean off nicotine - just a replacement for smoking. And so far, it has met that bill very, very well. After only a short while, my lung function is improving, my sense of smell has returned, my sinuses are opened up, etc. I have more energy and feel great. It has also already paid for itself in less than a month with what I'm now not spending on smokes. So that's an added benefit.

RJ, with ecigs, it has literally been effortless. if you do decide to go this route, there is a fairly steep learning curve. There are also some scam artists out there. Do your research before purchasing. Don't purchase from a mall kiosk or television infomercial! Best source of info: e-cigarette-forum. PM me if you have questions.

The wife and I are looking at this to finally quit for good. I've cut waaaaay back using lozenges, but she hates them andwants to giving vaping a try, as do i now. We're getting started in a couple of weeks so any advice is appreciated.
