And the SEC as a whole looks like hot garbage. This may be the year for Ohio State, Michigan, or a Big 12 team.

Never waist a good crisis. At least, that is the way to look at it. The whole world vs Alabama. We have been here a long, long time. No reason to get squirmish about it now.

So what did Texas do this week to deserve 3 first place votes? They almost lost to Wyoming, it was 10-7 mid way through the fourth quarter. They struggled at home in dry weather against a much inferior opponent. At least our struggle was on the road in a driving rain. Bama drops 3 spots, they picked up a first place vote.🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m not arguing the game , I’m talking about the 40-50 year old sportswriters that felt that performance was worthy of first place votes. They got more than they did last week. If our performance lost three spots, no one in their right mind would think Texas is the best team in The country coming off their performance. Especially after determining the team they beat to vault them up the rankings wasn’t actually as good as they thought. Makes no sense.

Their 1st place votes are a result of beating Alabama. That still means something to most people.
